Qualifiers
11 qualification slots are available for players worldwide. Winning competitors will be directly seeded into the Ro24 together with travel & accomodation to IEM Katowice 2020.

A total of 76 players will compete across the week in Katowice. Only one player will engrave themselves into esports history, who will be the 10th StarCraft II champion?
Overview
SC2 at the home of esports
This tournament will mark the 10th anniversary of StarCraft as a leading title on IEM and will again invite the world’s best SC2 players to compete in Poland this winter for their share of a US $250,000 prize pool.
Tickets will go public on October 31st. Premium tickets to the StarCraft II tournament Feb 28 - Mar 1 will be available for 500PLN, including a goodie bag, free drinks during the matches (only non-alcoholic, Spodek Arena only) and seating in the front row to guarantee visitors a premium viewing experience.

4x Double Elimination brackets of 16 players (64).
12 players advance to the next round. -
Ro24
4x groups of 6 players. Online qualification and the 2019 WCS Global Champion are directly seeded. Round Robin groups.
3 players from each group advancing to the Ro12. -
Ro12
1x Single Elimination bracket.
1st place in their group will advance directly to the quarterfinals with 2nd & 3rd place compete in the Ro12.
All matches will be played in the following 'Best of X' formatting:
- Ro76 & Ro24 - Bo3
- Ro12 - Bo5
- Grand Final - Bo7
