Tickets for the Intel® Extreme Masters Katowice CS:GO Major will be available for purchase at 16:00 CEST on Thursday, October 4th on Ticketmaster.pl. The October sale covers the Champions Stage of the Major. Overall, we will release three waves of tickets and tickets for both the Legends and Champions stage will be available in the second and third waves.
The IEM Katowice CS:GO Major will last nearly three weeks. The Challengers Stage (13-17 February, 2019) will take place behind closed doors at the ESL Arena in Katowice, but both the Legends (20-24 February, 2019) and Champions (February 28 - March 3, 2019) Stages will be played in front of a live audience. Legends will take place at the Katowice ICC expo hall, while Champions will take place over four days at Spodek and, like in previous years, will run parallel to the IEM Expo.
Tickets will be available in three waves:
- October 4th pre-sale (Champions Stage tickets only)
- November 29th sale (Champions + Legends)
- January 10th sale (Champions + Legends)
The ticketing format for the event will not change drastically. The event will still be free to enter for anyone willing to queue up. Ticket types will cover early entrance tickets and premium tickets as well as the ultimate experience God Mode tickets that come with a four star hotel booking.
Early entrance tickets allow you to enter the event premises approximately two hours ahead of the general queue. You can check out the IEM Expo before it gets too crowded, or get to Spodek early and grab a good seat. If you exit the event at any point, you can re-enter it through the premium entrance and bypass the main queue.
Premium tickets are a guarantee that you can get a seat in Spodek. They are priced more expensively, as they are aimed at fans traveling from abroad who are looking to have a more predictable experience. The four day Full Premium Experience ticket comes with the goodie bag, while the daily Premium tickets do not.
The event overall promises to be the best Intel Extreme Masters event in history blending the tradition of one of esports’ oldest trophies with the glamour of a Valve Major, and an Intel® Grand Slam event on top of it. It will be the first CS:GO Major where the Legends stage is played on stage and in front of a large live audience. The playoffs in the Champions Stage will be played over four days at Spodek (two quarterfinals on February 28, two quarterfinals on March 1, two semi finals on March 2 and the grand final on March 3).
If you have never visited IEM Katowice, the CSGO tournament is not the only thing you can experience at the event. The IEM Expo (open March 1-3, so one day fewer than the Champions Stage) is an 8,000 square meter hall with exhibits from top tech companies and partners interested in esports, with other esports tournaments going on.
All ticket types are available on our tickets page.
