Top-class eSport at Games Convention

The ESL Intel Arena at the Games Convention will be a great experience for everyone. The start of the third Intel Extreme Masters season, the European Nations Championship 2008 Finals and the first Intel Friday Night Game of the ESL Pro Series 13 show you eSport at its best and the 2,6000 square sized ESL Intel Arena you can test brand new games, high end hardware and just have fun.

In cooperation with Intel the ESL presents the ESL Intel Arena at the Games Convention in Leipzig, with an 2,600 square meter sized Area. Gamers can test their skill in the huge free gaming area, playing Far Cry 2 and Bionic Commander on high end desktops and notebooks. Furthermore you can win a brand new Volkswagen Scirocco, play basketball or high striker.

Also the ESL Intel Arena offers you eSports at its best. The third Intel Extreme Masters Season starts at Games Convention and with a 750,000USD prize purse the third Intel Extreme Masters season is the leading eSports tournament. We celebrate the Kick-Off with a World of Warcraft tournament. 16 top-class teams will compete for 30,000USD and 2 Global Final slots for their continent. Furthermore teams from Europe fight at the European Nations Championship 2008 Finals for the title "Best team in Europe" and a total prize money of 55,000 €. Also the ESL Pro Series 13 starts with the first Intel Friday Night Game of the Season at the Games Convention with thrilling matches in Counter-Strike and CS:Source.
